Assam Atmanirbhar Yojana Scheme Details
The Government of Assam has decided to provide interest-free loans to the youths for setting up new entrepreneurial ventures. Moreover, the Government of Assam plans to target over 2 lakh individuals – 1 lakh in the financial year 2023-24 and the remaining 1 lakh in the financial year 2024-25.
In addition to providing interest-free loans, the intended beneficiaries will have to undergo training in the chosen skill or educational training institutions. This training will last for a period of one month, and the beneficiaries will receive a stipend of INR 10,000 as well.

The loan, which the Government of Assam will provide to establish new entrepreneur ventures, is to be repaid by the beneficiaries after 5 years. To ensure the business venture started by the beneficiaries will be successful, they will be provided with training from educational/skill institutions.
