G20 Summit 2023

G20 is an international forum that addresses various global issues, such as the economy, cooperation, corruption, governance, environment and many significant topics. This significant international forum operates on a rotating presidency. India assumed the presidency of G20 in 2023; therefore, India will organize many G20 summits to address different issues and agendas.

Many G20 meetings and summits are scheduled to be organized by India at various locations, such as Srinagar, Goa, Delhi, Bhubaneshwar, etc. Many G20 summits are scheduled to be organized in the coming months, whereas many meetings have already taken place. Many high-level delegates attend these G20 summits organized on different agendas by India. The G20 Summit will commence from September 9-10 in New Delhi.

G20 Summit Locations 2023

Many prominent cities in India will host various G20 summits. Different meetings, including Development Working Group Meeting, Culture Working Group Meeting, Environment and Climate Sustainability Working Group Meeting, Anti-Corruption Working Group Meeting, Energy Transitions Working Group Meeting, and many other meetings will be organized by India.

G20 Theme 2023

The theme for G20 is decided by the current president country of G20. As India holds the current G20 presidency, the theme was decided by India. Hence, this year’s theme is “One Earth · One Family · One Future” or “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”. This theme holds a significant value as it is derived from a Sanskrit Text. Moreover, this theme signifies the value of every living being on the earth.

Currently, G20 consists of 19 countries. These countries are-

Besides these countries, the European Union is also part of G20.

G20 Members 2023

The member of G20 are listed above. The presidents and prime ministers of these members countries are the current leaders. The presidency of this significant forum changes each year, and on the basis of a rotating presidency, these members assume the presidency of G20. Besides these members, several guest organizations and countries also participate in various G20 meetings. Therefore, the European Union and 19 countries are part of G20.

The presidents decides the agendas and issues to be addressed in G20 meetings. Therefore, India decided various global matters and concerns to be discussed in G20. These matters will be discussed and decided by the attending delegates from the member nations of G20.
