GATE Exam Date 2024
GATE is a prominent national-level examination conducted annually by IITs and IISc Bengaluru. This year, Gate 2024 will be conducted by IISc Bengaluru. Recently, IISc Bengaluru released the exam date on which GATE 2024 will be conducted. Each year, a significant number of candidates from all over the country participate in this significant examination.
With the release of the GATE Exam Date, news regarding the addition of a new subject in the curriculum of GATE 2024 was also released by the IISc Bengaluru. According to the news, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (DA) has been added to the curriculum of GATE 2024. Moreover, with the addition of DA, the total number of subjects in GATE’s syllabus has increased to 30.

GATE Exam Date OUT 2024
The IISc Bengaluru recently announced the exam date for GATE 2024 on GATE’s authorized web portal. GATE 2024 will be conducted on 4 days (Feb 3, Feb 4, Feb 10, and Feb 11). IISc Bengaluru will allot exam cities and centers to the applicants based on their selections submitted in the GATE Application Form 2024.
Although applicants will be allowed to make changes to their application form, they have to pay the required fee for making changes. The list of the changes along with their respective modification fee is available on the authorized web portal of GATE 2024. Therefore, applicants should carefully submit all the details, such as their names, categories, subjects, address, preferred exam cities, etc.
GATE Exam Subject Codes
The list of all the subjects included in the GATE 2024 syllabus is available on GATE 2024’s authorized web portal. Applicants can apply for either 1 or 2 papers as per the subject combination provided by the IISc Bengaluru. Applicants can either choose the subjects according to their discipline (which they have completed or are pursuing), or they can select any other paper ( for the discipline they are seeking to pursue).

Each day, there will be 2 exam sessions – FN and AN. Furthermore, various subjects will be examined on different days. However, the examination schedule can be changed or postponed in due course by IISc Bengaluru. Therefore, applicants who have registered for the GATE 2024, must keep checking all the notices published on GATE 2024’s authorized web portal by IISc Bengaluru.
GATE Exam CSE, EE, ME, ECE, IN, AG, TF Branch Schedule
Although the schedule and paper codes have been published by the IISc Bengaluru, they have yet to publish the schedule for various branches, such as CSE, EE, ME, IN, AG, and TF. Each exam will be assigned a specific subject or combination of subjects for its paper. As applicants belonging to various streams, such as Computer Science & Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Mining Engineering, etc., participate in GATE, the schedule might take a bit of time to be prepared.
Although it is clear that the GATE Exam 2024 is scheduled to be held from February 3 to February 11. The syllabus for each branch for which the examinations will be conducted is available on GATE 2024’s authorized web portal. Very soon, the Brach schedule for GATE Exam 2024 will be published by the IISc Bengaluru.
