GATE Registration 2024
Gate Registrations will commence from August 24 onwards. Applicants must complete their GATE Registration 2024 through the authorized web portal of GATE 2024. Each year, GATE Examination is conducted by a different institution and each institution creates a different portal to convey all the notices and conduct different processes, such as registration, correction, admit card release, etc.

Additionally, there is no age limit or attempt limit for GATE 2024. However, applicants have to fall into the required education eligibility criteria for GATE 2024. GATE Registration Dates 2024
As part of the regular registration period, applicants may complete their GATE 2024 registration between August 24 and September 29. If the applicants finish their registration by paying the fee successfully, they won’t have to pay any additional fee. IISc Bangalore will allow the aspirants to register for GATE 2024 even after the registration period; however, an additional fee will be charged.
The extended period registrations for GATE 2024 will commence shortly after the last registration date during the regular period. According to IISc Bangalore, the last date to complete the registration (extended period) is October 13. If applicants want to avoid paying an extra fee for registration, they must finish their registrations during the regular period.
GATE Application Fees 2024
The fee for GATE 2024 application varies with the category of applicants. If the applicant is female or belongs to SC/ST/PwD category, the applicant has to pay INR 900. Whereas applicants from all the remaining categories (including foreign nationals) must pay INR 1800. These fee amounts are for a single paper only. With each paper, the application fee will increase.

Additionally, there will be an increase of INR 500 in the original application fee, if the applicants submit their applications during the extended period. For example, if the applicant has to pay INR 1800 during the regular registration period, they will have to pay INR 2300 during the extended period.
GATE Apply Online 2024
Applicants have to apply for GATE 2024 by carefully entering their details in the application form. This is because applicants have to pay an additional fee for making changes to their application forms. For each change, there is a different fee. Sometimes, if the applicants have entered too many incorrect details, they might have to pay more fees than they expect.
