Eligibility Criteria –
Recruitment – Constable (GD) Sports Person
Age Limit – 18 t0 23 years (relaxation in age as per the relevant recruitment rule available in the notification). Upper age limit is relaxable for 5 years ot UR aspirants and addistions 5 years in case of SC/ST and OBC NCL by three years i.e. 5+3 years.
Educational Qualification – 10th (Matriculation) or its equivalent from a recognized board (State/National).

Sports Qualification – Players who participated or won medals in the level of competition discussed in the recruitment advertisement. Individual events (International and National), Team events (International or National).
First Preference – Those aspirants who have represented the country or won medals in order of priority i.e. Gold/Silver/Bronze in an international competition in senior junior or in youth categories with clearance of the Department of Youth Affairs or Government of India.
Second Preference – Candidates who represent and won medals or position up to third place in National Championship or games organized by the National Sports Federation or Indian Olympic Association.
ITBP GD Constable Selection Process
A matriculation certificate shall accepted as proof for establishing the age of the applicants.
Aspirants must ensure all eligibility criteria and keep all documents handy. And those candidates who do have not education/sports documents on the recruitment are considered as not eligible or rejected.
Application Fee and Mode of Payment – Male candidates from UR, OC, and EWS category applying for recruitment to the post of constable under sports quota have to pay Rs 100/- in the form application form. And fee is exempted for females and candidates from SC and ST categories. Application fee online submitted through recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. An application with any other mode of fee payment is considered rejected.
Physical Standards –
Heights for Male Candidates (General) – 170 cm, Female Candidates (General) – 157 cm. Chest for Male candidates only (min 5 cm expansion is a must)
For Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dorgas, Marathsas, and candidates from Assam, HP, Kashmir region of UT of J&K & Ladakh. Height for male candidates is 165 cm and for female candidates 155 cm. Chest for male candidates 78 cm (min 5 cm expansion is a must)

Candidates from North Eastern State of Arunchal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, Gorkha Territorial Administration, Sub disivison of Darjeeling. Height for Male candidates 162.5 cm and for female candidates 152.5 cm. Chest for male candidates 77 cm and min 5 cm expansion is a must.
Eyesight – Minimum distance vision shall be 6/6 and 6/9 for both eyes without correction (without spectacles or lenses.
