SSC JE Exam Date 2023
The SSC will conduct the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical & Electrical) Exam 2023. The notification of the SSC JE 2023 was released on July 26, 2023. After that, SSC started accepting applications for the post of JE. However, the SSC has not announced the exact date to conduct the SSC JE Exam 2023.
Each time the notification of the SSC JE Exam comes, a large number of applicants apply. According to the SSC, the salary for the JE post ranges between INR 35400 to INR 112400. The Computer-Based Examination for SSC JE will be conducted in October 2023.

SSC JE Exam 2023
SSC will conduct two papers for the post of Junior Engineer. Only those applicants who attain the required percentage of marks in the Paper 1 Examination will be allowed to appear in the SSC JE Paper 2 Exam 2023.
Paper 1 Examination will be conducted in online mode. For this examination, applicants can download the JE Syllabus and start their preparation accordingly. A notification regarding the SSC JE Exam Date will be uploaded a few days before the commencement of the examination.

According to the notification, there are 1324 vacancies for the Junior Engineer posts. Through Paper 1 and Paper 2 Exams, these vacancies will be filled in various departments, such as National Technical Research Organization, Central Public Works Department, Military Engineer Services, etc.

SSC JE Selection Process 2023
Applicants for the various JE posts in different departments will be selected on the basis of their performance in both papers. However, the section will also depend on the preferred departments chosen by the applicants.

SSC JE Exam Pattern 2023
The first paper for the SSC JE Exam 2023 will be conducted in online mode. This paper will have 3 sections – GI&R (50 questions/50 marks), GA (50 questions/50 marks), and Part A or Part B or Part C (100 questions/100 marks). The last section will be based on the chosen subjects (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical).
