The University Grants Commission (UGC) has rebounded its decision that the mandatory Ph.D. qualification for an assistant professor of Junior Research Fellow is now optional. The UGC Net application fee varies from INR 1150 for General candidates, INR 600 for EWS/OBC-NCL, and INR 325 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender. To pay the fee, you need your cards or online payment, or if you want to pay through offline methods, then you have to pay through the SBI e-challan method.
